SoCo installed our new AC system and we couldn't be happier with how the process went, the quality of the install, and the awesomeness of the Daikin Fit system.
The initial sales visit was courteous, educational, and clearly showed that SoCo has an interest in a long-term relationship, which as new owners of our home was something we had hoped to establish for future maintenance.
The duct cleaning was done by two very professional, pleasant and efficient guys who were careful to ask us before potentially disrupting any of our registers that might be difficult to remove because we live in a historic home.
And finally, the AC install itself couldn't have gone more smoothly even though it wasn't the most straightforward job. Billy and Brad were outstanding. They arrived on time, the install took almost exactly the eight hours they quoted, and they took the time to explain every part of our new system and membership with SoCo.
We're very much looking forward to working with SoCo again in the future when it's time for a new furnace or maintenance.

SoCo always does a great job. They are good about safety and honest about repairs. Nathan and Shaun did a duct cleaning on the home we recently purchased. The ducts were very dirty but they did a great job cleaning and making sure not to leave any mess behind. The office employees do a great job with communication.
SoCo was not able to do a simple repair on my water heater. I called SoCo because the burner on the water heater they installed in August 2020 would not stay lit. I did some troubleshooting and told SoCo that I thought the problem was with the thermocouple. SoCo sent two people on consecutive days, both of whom ignored my suggestion to check the thermocouple. They told me that the burner seemed fine, that it had to be something else, and that it might cost $325/hour for them to figure it out, and they had no estimate of how long that would be.
I kicked the second guy out after I caught him lying about the burner working on its own again. After he left, I pulled out the thermocouple and noticed the damage immediately - I've added a picture. A replacement was only $22 and I did the repair myself in less than 2 hours. It's been working fine for six days now.
The employees that SoCo sent into my home probably would have fixed the water heater eventually, but it is abundantly clear that they were also looking for a pretext to overcharge me for doing work that is unnecessary or covered by warranty. I don't mind when people make mistakes, but SoCo sent two guys to my house to try and rip me off. I can't imagine I'm the only one.
EDIT: The owner's response predictably takes no responsibility and is fundamentally dishonest. 'We have to run a full diagnostic' is a handy catch-all excuse to use when caught in a lie, though it does make the employees seem terribly incompetent. So take your pick, I guess. They're either really bad at this kind of work or they're trying to take advantage of people. They've already got my money, don't let them take yours.

Trevor was extremely helpful and diagnosed the issues quickly. I definitely recommend Soco Heating and Cooling for all heating and cooling needs. And consider the cozy club membership! Very affordable and came in handy today!
SOCO came recommended by the community I live in. My AC stopped working, so I called the company to schedule an appointment. Jacob (aka "duct daddy") and David showed up on time for the appointment and did an excellent job explaining what the issue is and what is needed to fix it. Jacob is extremely patient and super clear in explaining things to an every day person who does not have much knowledge on the topic. He came a week or so later to fix the issue. He was professional, diligent, and extremely responsive. He took his time and did not rush the job, which I appreciated. He worked paying attention to every detail as if it were his own house. He definitely deserves a raise or a promotion. I will continue to use SOCO for my HVAC needs.
BONUS INFO: There is one lady who works int he office. She has no expression in her voice and will talk over you absolutely disregarding every single concern you have. She may be a good worker, but should not be answering the phones. I had an issue with a technician who did not show up for an appointment and she totally disregarded all I said and amp my concerns. Luckily, Jacob left his business card during the initial inspection, so I called him and the issue was resolved in within 24 hours. So, if you happen to call the company, and that said person answers the phone, do not be discouraged. Hang up and call back and wait until someone else takes your call. Do not dismiss the company because of one person. They really do excellent work and are very professions.
Garrett, Donell and Sean did a great job installing a filter rack, cleaning our furnace's blower and fixing our humidifier. They were professional and provided excellent customer service. Well done SOCO team and thanks for your work keeping our furnace going - we are especially appreciative with the current cold snap taking place. Thank you!
Had a new furnace installed after our original broke. From quote to completed install took less than 1 week. Kyle and Devin did a great job on the installation. They were able to answer all my questions and adapted the installation to meet my requests on where things were run or mounted. Kyle spent time teaching me how to use the new thermostat as well as getting it all setup and linked to the app. Kyle and Devin even went out of there way to give attention to our 8 month old puppy. Great service from very skilled and professional technicians.
