John Betlem Heating, Cooling and Electrical

The crews for both my basement Insulation project and Heater/Hot Water Tank project were professional and knowledgeable. They both did precise work and left clean job sites. I will definitely recommend them to friends and use them for future projects.

I am very pleased with the quality service Zachery provided. He was very detailed, showed great knowledge on how to service my baseboard boiler system. He made great recomendations and was very personable. It is clear that John Betlem Heating & Cooling higher quality staff and care for staff.

Called Betlem for an elderly neighbor that needed emergency electric help and was someone that you had done recent work for. According to you (Betlem) was not available and recommended she call Nichols Electric which she did and who never called back until the following day. Ended up making multiple calls for her before we found someone that could help. The sad part of all of this was when the woman finally did get a response from Lon Lockwood Electric who did come to the house and evaluate the problem and did return the following day for repairs was the bill for $5600 for a 100 amp service change which I thought was an unreasonable charge. Unfortunately with the issues she had she needed immediate help but I don't think next day service justified a $5600 fee. If Lon Lockwood wants to chime in here and justify their outrageous fee I'm willing to listen otherwise my reconmendation is to use another electrician. When RG&E was owned by Americans they were a gate keepers with connections to local contractors and monitored their fees and recommended the reputable companies for services during emergencies. I think we have lost that connection. So buyer beware.

After two experiences with John Betlem, Thomas in particular, we will be returning for any additional needs from the list of services offered. Thomas was courteous, skilled and communicated in a comfortable manner. Even whomever we talk to on the phone promotes a sense of confidence and friendliness. Great job overall

Leslie is a great service tech. He's courteous, knowledgeable and good natured. He answered a bunch of questions I had concerning humidifiers, high efficiency furnaces, water heaters, CO2 emissions, and venting. When I'm ready to buy anything new, I'll be sure to reach out to JBHC because of him.

The power goes out way to often in our neighborhood, and with a little one at home, we didn't want to risk not having power. Ever. Steven and the team at John Betlem made the process of getting a generator installed very easy and at the right price. They were very responsive, friendly and did a great job of keeping us educated and informed throughout the process. Would definitely recommend.

Betlem was able to get a technician out same day and repair my furnace in a quick and efficient fashion. My technician Nathan was very respectful and knowledgeable, explaining what was wrong and the solution to the problem before moving forward. Highly recommend for any HVAC needs

Zach and his coworker (dont remember his name-he was in training) were incredibly professional, polite, & friendly. Zach explained everything very well. I need to get estimates for a new HVAC & he offered to set up an appointment with a sales rep, but was not pushy about it, so I agreed, and he called the ofc & set it up on the spot. Just a nice, professional guy, and very knowledgeable about what he does.

The team did. Great job upgrading our electrical system and installing a hybrid heat pump hot water heater! Courteous and professional! Highly recommend!
