    I was not planning on a report that our system was leaking CO. Tom had to turn it off. Within 48 Tom and Phil came back and ablely fixed the system. It was a long process but the results were great! Two great guys!

    Tom was polite and professional working on our maintenance of our 30 year old air conditioner.

    Collin Priest was very professional and knowledgeable.He did a thorough job on our unit. The humidifier needed a new part and he took care of the problem. He also fixed a gas leak. He is definitely a person you want on your team.

    I don't understand what I just paid for. My furnace stopped working overnight the night before last. Yesterday morning, I called John Betlam as they had serviced our furnace previously. I was warned they would charge me $119 for coming out.

    I wrongly assumed that $119 would get me something... like some diagnostics. Nope. The tech they sent futzed around with the furnace and called several of his coworkers over the course of an hour and then gave up. He couldn't figure out what was wrong. He then billed me $250 for the hour on top of the $119.

    So I am now $370 poorer and no better off than I was when I woke up yesterday morning and tried to futz around with the furnace myself! I still have no idea what is wrong with my furnace and no plan for fixing it.

    Update: I received an email response after reaching out to the president of the company. They are going to refund the charges to my credit card. This is a huge relief and I am grateful they followed up.

    I contacted this business because of the great reviews. My experience with the man who responded to my house and the woman on the phone was positive; they were very informed and I got an appointment same day. My complaint is that I told the woman on the phone exactly what was wrong with my unit… the thermostat was not communicating with my outdoor unit. I told her i bought a new thermostat and would like it replaced. She said “Absolutely we can do that and we have appointments as soon as today! It will be $119; will you be paying cash or credit?” This was great news and I booked it… also I did think it was inexpensive but keep in mind I already purchased the thermostat.
    Fast forward to the end of the story…. the man responded and gave me an estimate of OVER $1,000!!!!!! Also I was told I had to use their thermostat and return mine. The thermostat they wanted to use was $48 on Amazon…. $271.25 if I buy it from them. He also told me I was most likely going to need refrigerant and a seal treatment ($722.08 total) which ended up not being the case.
    Anyway this made me extremely uncomfortable and I paid $128.52 for the appointment. I legitimately paid him to come over and tell me what I already knew was wrong (what I thought he was there to fix) and to make me think I needed a very expensive refrigerant fill! I truly feel this was predatory because I was given a price over the phone and told nothing about potential up-charges.
    A family friend came over and put the new thermostat on and my AC now works fine… took him about 15 minutes and he showed me how to do it. Simple, ONE WIRE wasn’t connected and that was it.
    This really ruined my day and yes, I know… I should have realized it would not $119. But I explained exactly what I needed and she said yes we can fix it; it will be this much and we can get you an appointment today!
    3 Stars is only because I take partial responsibility; I should never have believed the price I was given on the phone.
