Cedric did an amazing job!!! Totally professional, personable and detail oriented. He took great pains to figure out a pungent smell emitting from ventilation system, which included going in attic and crawling under house. He was very helpful and did a thorough job. We highly recommend this company!

We are new to the Charleston area, and did not know which company to trust for our AC repair. After reading other reviews, we felt comfortable calling Hero Heating and Air. They lived up to everything we had read! Every one from the person answering our call, to the two technicians (Cedrick and Kenny) that were sent to our house, lived up to this 5 star rating. Very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and answered every question we had. We were so impressed with the company that we signed up for the yearly maintenance program. We might be new to the area, but we have been here long enough to know that you need dependable AC repair in this Charleston heat! We definitely recommend this company.

I called on a Wednesday and they scheduled to have someone come out on that Friday!! I couldn’t believe it! Cedric was our service member! He went above and beyond to answer my questions and went the extra mile for me as it was a new home and it hasn’t been serviced yet. He even arranged another appointment for me for that same day when I mentioned I wanted to get an estimate on new duct work as well! An hour later Rocky showed up and Cedric went through his knowledge of the house having just serviced it so that Rocky could get me an estimate. We also had a great time chatting both being local and everything! :) it’s refreshing when someone comes in and does the work but takes the time to say Hi and talk to you a little bit! I recommend Hero Heating and Air to everyone I know and will continue to do so!

A/C died in the middle of the night. Called in the morning and Scott was on site by midmorning! Outstanding response time. Scott was terrific, repaired the system quickly an explained everything along the way. Very reasonable pricing. Could not be more pleased!

I used Hero 5 months ago and it was great. I was in need again of service on a different unit. Service was excellent. One person that really shined was Ann Marie. She works in the office she said. A part was needed and she brought it to the house so that my AC would be repaired. She was so polite and nice. Very professional and definitely must be a wonderful employee. Hero should be proud to have her.

HERO for sure! This has been the ONLY company over last 3 years to fix the issue we have been painfully dealing with. They are very quick to respond to your call and go above and beyond to ensure your issues are resolved. This kind of service is rare these days and I am thankful to have made the call to HERO. Lowcountry life would be a lot less comfortable without working A/C - so when my newer unit decided to take a vacation from its' duties mid-summer, we called around with the hopes of someone getting out within a week or two. Not only was HERO able to come SAME DAY but they were on-time, professional and courteous, as well as....get this...honest about the issues (I have minor ability to do work on my own). We ended up with working A/C that day, a bill far lower than I'd expected (ie taking your car to a dealership v Geralds Tires) and a wife that thought me the hero - thanks to Rick Simmons, who was the master technician at Hero.

Kevin and Richard were on time for the diagnostic appointment. They were thorough and checked out the issues. Knowledgable and took time to explain their findings. They are sending me a quote today for the proposed repairs. Thank you for your courteous and prompt service. Mary Carson
