I had purchased my hvac unit from the previous owners, with whom I was definitely satisfied. When it started having issues cooling I reached out and found they’d sold to Hero and I was just, if not more, impressed with the service provided.
When I called in the morning they didn’t have any availability that day, but would see what they could do. Not only did they come that day, Rick spent over two hours at my home - at the end of what I’m sure was a long work day. He was friendly, helpful, and thorough. I was more than pleased with the service and am glad Hero is who took over for the previous owners.
Staff at Hero H&A have always been quick to respond, very professional and clearly focused on customer satisfaction. They are personable and take extra care to communicate to ensure the customer understands what is going on. They installed a new system for me during the pandemic, taking extra steps to ensure safety. When a problem happened, they responded to my after hours call and had someone here the next day, discovering and fixing a clog in my water line. From the staff member who reviewed my broken system and provided a quote for a replacement to the office staff who set up appointments to the professionals who installed a new system to the technicians who did a system checkup - all were top notch, which really gives me a sense of security when buying a major, expensive system like this. And … my utility bill dropped $100/month. Not bad. Two thumbs up all the way around.
Hero Heating and Air repaired our AC that had not been working for over 6 weeks. The previous HVAC company could not get it fixed after 3 separate service calls. Kevin was very competent, and courteous and had us up and running in less than an hour. We had been customers of the other company for 20 years and we've now switched to Hero. Cedric Simmons is a professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly Hero employee. Cedric took time to explain what he was doing and offered genuine suggestions that were helpful and would offer protection of our AC in the future. Cedric was proactive and based on the message I left Cedric, came prepared on a Sunday morning with extra fuses "just in case".Cedric was also conscientious and checked over his work and left workspace cleaner than how he found it. From my initial phone call to Hero AC I could not be more impressed with this company and the extremely welcoming and professional way they responded to my request for service to my AC. They set up an appointment date for a technician to come to my house and even included his arrival time. They sent an email reminder just before the date and the tech., Charlie even sent me an email on the date to say he was on his way to my house and he arrived on time. Charlie, did a very through service of my two AC units and we will look forward to his next visit. Any company manager/owner would do well to check out the way Hero AC works with their customers. Especially the companies using these popular automated answering machines, which often say how much they appreciate your business and then, please wait for our next available person to help you. and then make you listen to awful "elevator" music interspersed with how important your call is to them, , please continue to hold.
To first call and then do business with Hero AC was a rare unusual, personnel and delightful experience.
Hero is a great company! We called because we wanted to replace a HVAC unit and change maintenance on another. I was immediately impressed with the promptness and listening the staff gave us. David, Rocky, and Stephanie really took the time to look at our house inside and out as well as guide us with our choices. They were honest and respectful. Within a day, we had a new unit and maintenance done on our other unit. The install guys were on time, clear on what they would do, quiet, and cleaned up everything. I called other companies but hands down Hero is the best-no sales gimmicks, honest, professional, fast, and a feel good family business. They are my heroes!
