Be wise when calling services like these. I genuinely don't know anything about HVAC, but I knew something was off about the prices they were giving me. I had them come out to my home to fix my AC and they quoted me $960 to do a job that I got done for less than $50. Thank the lord I had the brains to ask the right questions. I honestly will not be using them again. Please be SMART! They are SEVERELY overcharging for parts and labor. On top of that, they charge $159 for only 10 minutes of their time and gas. I got scammed once, but I won't be scammed again. I don't want you to be scammed either. Please Please be smart and be wise. You don't have to spend $200, $400, or $900+ just because they say that's what it costs. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
My technician Daniel T was very easy to work with. Cooper's sent Daniel to my home to give my AC unit a very needed tune-up. I am hopeful that this service will save me on future costly repairs. Thanks Daniel T and Cooper's Plumbing & Air!
I don’t have the words to describe the level of incompetence from this company. I truly believe myself to be a fairly reasonable person. So, I completely understand the need to remove a shelf and cut into this cabinet’s side wall; they needed to reach the plumbing behind it. Makes sense. However, I do not understand why ANYONE would leave behind nails in this manner AND with no warning. The shelf was clearly damaged in the removal. There was no putting it back up. Okay, not a problem. But why exactly did we leave the nails behind? To puncture someone’s hand? To slice someone’s arm reaching in? Why would a company wish to cause injury to someone in such a careless manner? Would it have really taken that much more effort to remove these nails? Flatten them perhaps? The answer is no. It took me less than a minute after almost puncturing my hand while cleaning up after them. Yes, they don’t do that either. You will almost certainly need to hire a maid service behind them. I’m not going to comment on the Hvac system replacement or the rest of everything that was completely misguided here... I feel like the nails really speak to the quality of work this company provides. I’m honestly not sure why my landlord continues to use such unprofessional venders, but I will most certainly never hire them nor recommend them.
Update: I did call. Coopers said they’d be here at 7:30 to make this right yesterday. It wasn’t surprising no one came back. I do Love how we’re pretending I’m not a customer though. I may not have paid for this, but I sure had to endure it.
The guy who came out and did the $159 diagnostics pulled out the On/Off plug from my AC unit cutting the power to it and didn't tell me. I did not have him do any further work because of how high the quote was ($900 to install a $40 part). He did not put the On/Off plug back in before he left. He had to have left the power plug out on purpose because he was the one who took it out. He was probably thinking I wouldn't be able to figure out that it needed to be plugged back in and would have to call them back out (another $159!!) to "fix" it. Thank goodness I was able to put it back without calling them and get my AC working again.
Scott was absolutely amazing determined the the problem with my AC unit very quickly and installed a new compressor within minutes. Highly recommend Cooper Plumbing and Air!
I grew up as a plumbers helper with my father in the housing business and still regularly deal with contractors now that I flip houses and have rentals. I am yet to encounter anyone that was as professional and thorough as these guys were. I will have them on every job from here on.

Coopers never fails!! These guys are awesome. My AC went out and i panicked thinking it would be a massive repair. Scott took time out of his night after hours to come and service my home. He was honest and informative about what needed to be fixed. Two nights in a row Scott came over and worked hours in the dark helping me fix my system. Now THAT is what you call customer service and that is why i love coopers!! It luckily wasn't a massive break and i felt very thankful for the professionalism and the willingness to not leave me without an AC in Florida. Would so recommend coopers!!! Thank you, Scott!!!!
